The APPPC Workshop on System Approach is scheduled for 30 November-4 December 2015, Bangkok, Thailand

<p>The 28^th Session of APPPC included a workshop on system approach into the work programme.</p><p>The APPPC Workshop on System Approach is now scheduled for 30 November- 4 December 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand.</p><p>This workshop will build on the first system approach workshop held in Thailand in November 2013. It will draw principles of ISPM 14 to examine in detail the practical design and implementation of the integrated measures for system approaches to pest management.</p><p>The workshop will provide opportunities for attendees, through group exercise, to build a model system and develop a deeper understanding of the key integrated measures of a system approach.</p><p>The workshop will utilize a number of experts in pest risk assessment and management, who will facilitate the group exercise and discussions on the use of system approaches in developing integrated pest management strategies.&nbsp;</p>
